DID YOU KNOW?   All of the male AAUW members are just as young and good looking as this guy. ……That men were admitted as members into AAUW in 1987.  When that happened we stopped being a sexist organization.  Our male members genuinely believe in equity for women.  The AAUW Fremont Branch has five male members this year. Thanks to Jo Harberson, who shared AAUW’s past, present and future at a Branch Leadership Workshop on August 1, 2009.  We are passing along snippets of her history gems in this weekly column.
