On Saturday, September 26th, approximately sixty members of Fremont Branch, AAUW, gathered in the Prince of Peace Church’s social hall for the annual Fall Brunch.

Members were treated to a delicious repast of mini muffins, fresh fruit and quiche.   All had a chance to visit the Interest Tables and sign up for upcoming activities, projects and programs.

Everyone received the new Orientation Bulletin which chronicles all of the activities offered by the branch as well as the Membership Brochure designed to pass on to anyone who would like to join our organization.

The business meeting offered members a chance to hear the three enthusiastic Tech Trek campers describe three aspects of their six-days of science-related activities at Sonoma State during the summer:  dorm life, field trips and the girls’ daily lives.

We also heard from Genevieve Angelides about the new AAUW bylaw changes and had the opportunity to vote on them.

All attendees had a chance to renew friendships as well as meet some of our new members.   A good time was definitely had by all!
